Our first café opened for breakfast at about 7 a.m. one morning in 1993. settled in a quiet neighborhood called Candler Park on the east side of Atlanta, We sold out of our signature biscuits by 11 a.m. that day.

More than 20 years later, we are an institution–growing to 19 locations throughout Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and Texas. But we always kept that quintessential neighborhood spirit and focused on our Southern-inspired menu of comfort food made with fresh ingredients. Though we’re famous for our grits and biscuits (we bake almost 5,000 biscuits per week at each location), our loyal guests throughout the Southeast come join us to enjoy Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner throughout the day.

Daryl Dollinger – President

Since 1997, Daryl has played an important role with Big Game Brands (formerly known as Raving Brands) developing concepts such as The Flying Biscuit Café, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Planet Smoothie, Mama Fu’s Asian House, Doc Green’s Gourmet Grill, Boneheads Seafood and Monkey Joe’s Party and Play. Daryl’s many years of experience with concept creation, franchise sales, real estate development, franchise marketing, training and operations have proven invaluable to the company.

Originally from New York, Daryl is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a double major of political science and criminal justice. His immersion in the food service industry began with his first post-college position with Aramark at the College of Charleston. From there Daryl moved around the Southeast with Aramark, ultimately serving as the company’s regional food service director in Rome, Georgia.

Daryl and his wife Kim have three children and have lived in Atlanta since 1996.

Brent Fuller – Brand Leader/VP of Operations

Since 2009, Brent has served as the Brand Leader of The Flying Biscuit Café and has played an integral role in the expansion of the franchise throughout the Southeast.

Brent applies more than 30 years of experience with individual and multi-unit restaurant operations as he works side-by-side with respected industry leaders, developers and operators. He will leverage that knowledge as the brand plans to aggressively expand in the Southeast over the next three years.

From his hands-on involvement with marketing and development to overseeing franchise operations, you will most likely find Brent at one of the brand’s locations. He firmly believes in the company’s philosophy of not only providing five-star service at a one-star price, but also giving back to the local community. If you spot Brent in one the restaurants, challenge him to a biscuit toss game.

If you beat him he will buy your meal, but that’s not as easy as it sounds. He has not been beaten yet.
